IT'S MY FAVORITE MONTH!

Not only is it my birthday month (yay! happy birthday to me!), but it is also the month we head up to the cabin for a family weekend and the one in which the Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota Renaissance Festival begin! So much fun in just one month!

Renaissance Festival on my Birthday

This year the opening day of the Renaissance Festival coincided with my birthday, so we decided to go as a family and enjoy it! We watched some jousting, EV threw tomatoes at a guy who insulted her (vegetable justice, amiright?), Malcolm won two sets of swords and shields, and we walked around taking in ye olde shoppes and festivities together. 

Multiple State Fair Visits

As I write this - which admittedly is later than I intended - we have made it to the Great Minnesota Get-Together 3 times, with a plan to go once more (and I might sneak in a 5th time on my own if I'm lucky). The kids and I love to spend 6+ hours there, walking around and finding things to watch or free stuff to do. If you haven't gone to the Minnesota State Fair before, make a plan to visit next year! It's so fun, and I offer guided services to ensure you see the things that you want to see (it's a big place!). Next year's dates are August 21 - September 1st, 2025.

Philanthropy for Experience Culture Travel

I'm excited to announce that this year I will be sponsoring the Haiti Outreach Annual Fall Gala! Haiti Outreach is an organization that works to build sustainable access to clean water and sanitation for Haiti's rural communities. They also provide leadership training for municipal leaders. By coaching rural communities and municipal leaders to seek their own solutions, take ownership and action, and implement sustainable systems, Haiti Outreach has found the pathway to developing Haiti in our lifetime.

In the same way that I love supporting tourism partners that care about sustainability and supporting local industry in a destination, I want to partner with Haiti Outreach to provide sustainable organization to allow communities to grow and thrive.
