July is perfect for parades!

We loved the city we used to live in, Robbinsdale, as it always felt like a small town right in the big city. Because of how much we still love it, not only is Experience Culture Travel in the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce, but we also love going to Robbinsdale for their Whiz Bang Days celebrations every July! One of our favorite aspects of the celebrations is the parade. It is one of the last pieces of Whiz Bang Days and occurs at 3pm on Sunday. We've hardly ever missed one!

Minnesota State Fair: August 22 - September 2

The Minnesota State Fair is one of my favorite parts of the summer, but it is bittersweet as it heralds the school year at its end. Our state fair is the 2nd largest in the country and can be a bit overwhelming to a first timer. Because of that, I offer private guide service for either 3 or 6 hours for you and up to 7 of your friends or family!

Minnesota Renaissance Festival: Weekends August 17 - September 29 + September 2 & 27

Another of my favorite nearing the end of- and post-summer events, the Renaissance Festival is a great day event for those who are interested in medieval history, fantasy and fairies, and anachronistic medieval things. It gets dusty or muddy (depending on rainfall) so dress accordingly!

You can get discounted tickets at Cub Foods, and Costco usually sells a 4 pack that includes a turkey leg. Make sure to purchase parking passes ahead of time to save money and ensure you have a spot!
