Bucket List Adventure in Australia - 2024
When you have places you want to see in a destination that many don’t get to, you check off as many as you can in your trip! That’s what Kerry & Will did on their epic, 4 state adventure to Australia.
They started in Sydney, driving up to the Blue Mountains to enjoy their scenic beauty. After hiking and enjoying the time there for a few days, they continued on to fly to Hobart, Tasmania. Here they drove from Hobart to Lake St. Clair and stayed in a lodge within a World Heritage site. The next day, they continued on to Strahan Village, enjoying a cruise to see Hell’s Gate, Sarah Island, & Liberty Point. After a night there, they continued to Cradle Mountain and experienced Tasmanian Devils & Quolls at a sanctuary. They finished their time in Tasmania in Launceston, before flying to Adelaide.
Once in Adelaide, they took a ferry to Kangaroo Island and explored that for a couple days before heading back to the mainland and taking the Ghan train overnight up to Alice Springs. From Alice Springs, they made the hourlong trek to Uluru and stayed there overnight, enjoying a seeing this natural beauty at both sunset and sunrise. From Uluru, they went back to Alice Springs and flew to Darwin, where they enjoyed a few days of exploring the area with friends, before heading back home.
