Though I typically book international trips, I have a handful of clients who desire to experience the culture of domestic locations. Rich P. decided he wanted to start out retirement by going out into nature and experiencing the great outdoors. He’d been stuck behind a desk for his whole career and wanted to stretch his legs and see natural beauty. To start with, he chose Yosemite National Park.

Yosemite National Park is in California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range, and is known for the giant sequoia trees, as well as the majestic granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome. Rich took an Intrepid Adventures tour that allowed him to adventure in the company of others, and enjoyed his trip immensely. He is excited for October when he will expand his trekking in Patagonia.
