Colombia - 2023

Colombia is one of my favorite places - it is such a beautiful country, with LOADS of nature to see and experience, and the people there are just lovely and kind. So when my client Rebecca came to me asking me to plan a 30th anniversary celebration for her and her husband, I was eager to suggest Colombia based on what she said they enjoyed seeing and doing together.

The best part about this couple was that they take turns picking their anniversary celebration destinations to surprise the other. So this time she was in charge and we were able to keep the secret until a couple days prior to the trip! Suffice it to say, they both had an amazing time!

They split their time between Bogota and the surrounding area and Cartagena, enjoying things like Guatavita, the salt cathedral, and the beaches of Cartagena. They got some unique cultural experiences in as well, bringing them off the beaten path in a unique way.
