Galapagos Islands - 2018

For those of you looking for adventure in your life, look no farther than the Galapagos Islands, a short hop, skip, and jump away from the South American coast and Quito, Ecuador. Recently a client returned from a G Adventures tour of the Galapagos and had only great things to say about her experience. See some highlights below, then check out her blog posts about it, starting with this one. If this type of tour sounds like something you'd be interested in, contact me and I will help set you up to experience one of the most unique ecosystems in the world!

G Adventures tours are known for getting you up and close with the locals - whether that be human or otherwise! From flamingos to blue-footed boobies to lazy sea lions, she was able to get some great shots of the local wildlife.

A quick walk through the wetlands was all it took to see these beauties.

And she wasn't left with shabby accommodations either! Check out some of the places she stayed while on tour:

In summary, I can't think of a better way to promote the Galapagos than by using a quote from the client herself about some highlights of the trip:

  • Perfect, sunny weather our entire week in the Galapagos
  • Taking in unobstructed views of the Sierra Negra caldera
  • Getting up and close and personal with sharks
  • Swimming with a wild baby sea lion for an hour
  • Witnessing a newborn sea lion go into the water for the first time with its mama
  • Seeing three wild blue footed boobies: A flirty father, an attentive mother with her eggs, and a baby
  • Enjoying the wonderful company of 13 other travel partners from Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway
