Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya, Mexico - 2019

Our family trip of 2019 was amazing. We spent 5 days in Riviera Maya at the Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya. This 5-star property is great for families with smaller children. It is intimate and much smaller than some other family-friendly resorts, making it easy to connect with family staying in other rooms. We stayed in the family suite, which had a bedroom and living space with a Murphy bed. They supplied baby gear like a stroller, changing table, baby bathtub, and bottle warmer. Additionally, the private beach is just the right size for building sand castles and playing beach volleyball, and includes cabanas that are free to rent each day.

The biggest selling point for our family for this resort was how great they are with food allergies/sensitivities. At every meal, we were asked if anyone had allergies, and given plenty of choices that met our specific dietary needs (and that is hard to do when its a toddler who can’t have gluten or dairy)! The food was superb, and we felt like we would’ve easily paid $50/plate at home for the cuisine.

For families or those with food sensitivities, the Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya is a HUGE WIN!
