Family Trip to Puerto Rico - 2024

This lovely family of 3 wanted to go someplace warm that didn’t require a passport for Spring Break this year, and they settled on Puerto Rico! They were coming from the West Coast, so they wisely decided to stay the first night in San Juan, before heading out a bit to explore the island, and then spending the last night back in San Juan before heading back home. They rented a car so they could be on their schedule, and get to go where they wanted to go, and enjoyed their time at a lovely resort.

Anniversary Trip to Mexico - 2023

When celebrating major milestones, my clients sometimes want to be able to just relax and getaway, without moving about or doing much of anything. For these clients celebrating their 10-year anniversary, they didn’t want to worry about anything, didn’t want to think about how much dinner or drinks cost or where to find them, and just wanted a beach to lay out on. Mexico does all of that really well, so they decided to go there.

My clients were looking for a relaxing yet adventurous ecotourism vacation. They’d been to Belize (another of my top ecotourism destinations, as you can see from other past trips), and they had enjoyed Barbados and Grenada as cruise stops already. They were looking for something where they could sit on the beach yet still enjoy some excursions that were unique, so Costa Rica was selected!

Honeymoon to Belize - 2022

Jeff & Kathleen had gotten married during COVID, and wanted to book their honeymoon now that restrictions had started being lifted. They are both adventurous people - enjoying hiking, snowmobiling, and generally being outside in nature - but also wanted a component of relaxation and being able to sit at the beach. Belize was just the ticket for them, with a split stay between rainforest and caye. They enjoyed the pace of it and the adventure, saying “All we had to do was show up ready for our next experience!”

My first clients out of the country since the COVID-19 pandemic hit American soils, and their trip was a total success! In their own words: El CID Castilla was very clean and accommodating. From breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks and meals by the pool to drinks at the bar in the lobby. We look forward to coming again. We met new friends and look forward to coming again. Kara made everything easy for our first family vacation out of the country.
