Morocco - aromatic spices, picturesque markets, arid desert - this exotic destination is sure to please the senses! Beth P. was able to experience an in depth, immersive tour of Marrakech and followed a path of a local tribe of nomads. She broke bread with Berber people in their rural homes, hiked the desert and immersed herself in the remote, off-the-beaten path Morocco that most tourists don’t see. Her tour was a women’s only tour, meaning they got to experience the aspects of the culture that are typically reserved for women. She hiked the M’goun Valley and even got to experience firsthand the dress and makeup of a typical Berber bride.

If you’ve only ever thought of Casablanca, Marrakech or Chefchaouen when you think of Morocco, you’ve got to consider expanding your experience to the more rural areas!
