Belize - small country, but big on nature!

For being a small country in Central America that many couldn’t find on a map, Belize is packed with beauty, culture, and wildlife. Conveniently located within a day of most places in the US, it is the sole country in Central America that boasts English as the official language, making it a perfect place to begin your globe trotting bucket list. It is a small country, so easy to split your time between the inland jungle and the beach. Scuba and snorklers take note, there is a massive reef just off the coast of Belize along with a great area to view sharks. Inland you’ll find Mayan ruins that are less heavily populated with crowds than Tulum or Chichen Itza.
