Neuschwanstein Castle - Germany - 2019

Have you ever seen Disney’s Sleeping Beauty? Ever thought the castle looked pretty cool? Well it is based off of Neuschwanstein Castle in Hohenschwangau, Germany, a few hours train ride from Munich. Commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria and financed out of his own pocket, it was never completed. To this day there are full rooms that are empty or halfway completed. Visitors can tour a portion of the castle, however no photography is allowed inside. There is a bridge within walking distance that allows one to take the quintessential Neuschwanstein photo as well.
