Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - 2019

Puerto Vallarta is a bustling hub of Mexican culture, with art galleries, beautiful sunsets, and nature at your fingertips. Located on the Pacific side of Mexico, it typically avoids the Sargassum seaweed that can accumulate on the Atlantic side in places like Cancun and Riviera Maya. It is located near the Sierra Madre mountains, which provides tour companies with zip line opportunities as well as nautical activities. While there, we took an Eco tour (check out the video below) which brought us out to the Marietas Islands where we saw the unique Blue Footed Booby bird, tons of fish, dolphins, and whales. We walked around the Romantic region of the city, which is very safe and near the Malecon section of the beach.

Puerto Vallarta has stolen first prize in my heart for destinations in Mexico.
