A good trip with a sister deserves another, and these sisters had taken a trip to Italy together in the past and wanted to do another one, this time to Portugal! They enjoy taking escorted tours, joining with a guide and getting the benefit of not having to think about the logistics much when they are there. They decided on a Globus itinerary and were not disappointed.
Read MoreThis is a trip that I got to take myself and it was phenomenal. I spent some time in the Azores (an island chain west of Portugal in the Atlantic Ocean) and a couple days in Lisbon. While it wasn’t high season in either location, both were amazing and had some really cool things I saw.
Read MoreItaly has been a popular destination this year - you’ve probably noticed this if you look back at posts, and guess what: you’ll see another post coming in the next few days as well! This trip was for a family of 4 who wanted to experience Italy (and their first family trip to Europe) for the first time.
Read MoreI really love planning family trips. I especially love families that are adventurous and think outside the box, like this family. They decided to see Coldplay in Düsseldorf, and then created a whole vacation around that! They hit up Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Zürich, Sorrento, and Rome on their trip.
Read MoreThe Baltic countries - a less traveled portion of Europe - called to my client. He usually prefers more active trips (hiking and a bit more strenuous than city tour walks), but he couldn’t pass up an opportunity to see Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, as well as Finland and Sweden.
Read MoreThese ladies were in their senior year of college when they reached out to me, hoping that I could help them plan their trip to the United Kingdom & Ireland. They were going in late May/early June, and wanted to spend close to 3 weeks abroad. They had modest budgets and hopes of exploring as they felt led. Their parents, however, were not as keen on that idea, and enlisted my help.
Read MoreMy clients decided to do a final trip of 2023 to Spain to use up some airline credits before they expired (PS - I can totally help you plan the land portion if you want to use up credits from an airline!). They were fairly open to where to go within Spain (as long as they got to see many art museums and the area around Seville. They even got to go to a Real Madrid football match!

These clients LOVE the Minnesota Wild, but they’ve moved away from the frozen tundra that is MN to the east coast, and don’t get to go to games often anymore. One of them has Swedish heritage, so when it was announced that the Wild would be playing a couple games in Stockholm, they jumped on those tickets and called me to plan a trip for them!
Read MoreI have several clients who are solo travelers who prefer to join an escorted group to experience the destinations they want to visit. One such client just returned from a whirlwind trip through the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and France. She had a great time, enjoyed making friends with the other people on the tour, and took some amazing pictures along the way!
Read MoreI love it when families make it a priority to travel with their kids. It’s definitely something the kids remember for the rest of their lives. Check out the photos from a recent family’s trip to Iceland and Ireland!
Read MoreSpain is a beautiful country anytime you go, but my clients happened to be there when it turned downright magical - Semana Santa (Holy Week). During this week, churches go full out with parades and performances, and it seems that around every corner there is something unique to be seen.
Read MoreA wonderful family of 5 decided that they needed to spend their winter break in Paris and Denmark, meeting and staying with family friends for some of the time, and exploring a bit on their own as well.
Read MorePrague and the rest of the Czech Republic has so much to offer. The food there is delicious—loads of dumplings and potatoes with savory meats—and the landscapes are delightful. Going there alone aside from my 10 month old was also easier than I expected, everyone was helpful and kind when I needed assistance, and Prague is not hard to get around. I mainly wore my son, though, as the streets are cobbled and uneven and a stroller may have been difficult to push.
